The Challenge

After years of lockdowns, a stout synonymous with Christmas challenged us to get the UK back into pubs during the festive season with the first round ‘on them’.

They want to remind the world that good times were coming and capitalise on the emotional hook of meeting friends and family in the pub after so long apart.

The Client’s Big Win: Scale; They wanted pubs up and down the country to offer their pint ‘on the house’ to 30,000 revellers. Welcoming them back to the new normal. Support; They wanted to tangibly support the on-trade after a very hard pandemic by driving footfall and spend to their doors.

The Campaign & Key Results

The campaign ran for the 6 weeks before Christmas 2021 and saw hundreds of much-missed local pubs across the land promoted at scale. Despite the UK nervously coming back to life post-pandemic 30,000 samples were served and the results were fantastic.
